I love this quote from Anatole France “The book is the opium of the West”. For me, the book and more specifically the novel, is a conversation that we engage in with ourselves, that we continue with others and that resonates throughout the generations without ever concluding, says Ms Marielle Gallo, Member of the European Parliament, for the “Get Caught Reading” campaign.
