I read a lot: novels, fairy tales, poems, short stories, while I am on the train, on the plane or when I have even the slightest moment of spare time, which can be quite rare. As a matter of principle, I ONLY ever read literature and never any “political books”. However, given the circumstances and the extremely difficult situation the European Union is facing, I made an exception and chose a book with quite a strong and striking title: “Bougeons l’Europe!” (“Let’s get Europe moving!”). For we must act, we must change things, we must get the European Union to move! Europe is getting bogged down: economic and financial crisis, Greek depression, migration crisis, terrorism… To respond to these challenges, we must act together and Europe must show that it is up to the expectations!
