Reading can inspire and motivate, says Liam Aylward, MEP

Coming from Ireland with its strong literary tradition and culture of storytelling it is easy to get lost in a good book. The benefits of reading are limitless, aside from the educational benefits and the acquisition of knowledge, reading can inspire and motivate. It stimulates creativity and the imagination. There is no better escapism than a good book. Personally I enjoy biographies and historical books and I always look forward to getting drawn into a well written book, says Mr Liam Aylward, Member of the European Parliament.
