There is nothing like sitting down to read a good book, says Martin Callanan, MEP

Following her recent death I have chosen to re-read Margaret Thatcher’s autobiographies, which contain incredible insights into her time in office, says Martin Callanan, Member of the European Parliament, for the “Get Caught Reading” campaign.

Of course, I have the hardback version here but the explosion of digital reading devices has helped a number of people rediscover the joys of reading in recent years. It goes to show that, no matter how good the technological advances, there is still nothing like sitting down to read a good book, added Mr Callanan.
